Gas broiler will not ignite. I replaced the bake igniter last year no problem. Is there an way to see if it is the igniter or more involved? The igniter does NOT glow red.

The igniter does NOT glow red. Gerry, You can visually look at the igniter, for cracks(white spots on the gray area is a good indication of a crack), or broken igniter end(gray area). Part number: AP2934763
If you have a multi meter, you can check for 120 AC volts on the wires to the igniter, from the control, when you program a broil selection. If you have voltage on the wires, you have a bad igniter, no voltage would indicate a broken wire or a bad control (clock). ***BE CAREFUL if you decide to run a voltage check*** Let us know what you find, :) :) :)
