The electric when off in house , when came back on oven door would not open , Wife jerked it now cleaning latch stuck in open position oven will not turn on to bake or broil cycle

Does it show any error code on the display?

Pull the range out of the wall and check the switches on the door latch & motor assembly (#89 on the diagram). Post the results.
