Model Number: JDS9860AAP Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 1 - 5 years
After working fine for several years, my electric Jenn-air oven (JDS9860AAP) suddenly heats very slowly (1 hr to 350 degrees). You can hear a relay click on, then off after 5 seconds or so, then on later and off, etc. The broil element does not heat on any setting. The bottom element heats, but never red hot, and shows 20 ohms resistance. All other functions seem to work. Temperature probe measures about 1100 ohms. Control board? Relay board? How to check further? All thoughts appreciated.

Thanks again for posting the service notes. Followed them and the one that helped most was checking the elements for 240 volts. Turned out there was only 120 volts present, then traced that issue to a faulty relay on one side of the high voltage supply. $8 part and we are back in business!
