I'd like to replace the temperature sensor for my Amana ACS3350AS oven. I have the replacement part and I unscrewed the orginal. I can pull the sensor out a few inches, but I don't see a connector. One of my options is to cut the wire and connect the new sensor with ceramic twist caps. The problem is that I don't think the caps will fit back through the hole. So that means that I would need to first get behind the oven cavity to cut and connect the wires, but I don't know how to get there. If I pull out the broiler drawer, I can look up the back of the oven with a mirror and a flashlight...and I think I can see the wire but can not reach it.
Is there an easier way to properly replace the sensor?
Note: I have replaced the bottom ignitor before, and it was extremely easy.
Thanks, Mike

Bump.
Any ideas? I'd hate to hire someone if this turns out to as easy as the ignitor.
Thanks! -Mike
