The new # they gave me is Smart Board Control # WB27X5465. I started the oven and a few minutes later I heard a pop sound and right after, I smelled something burning like metal burning. Then the stove and the oven blew out. The stove and oven are separate. But the wires are connected together.
Somebody told me I needed a board assembly and relay switch. The part number they gave me is # WB27X5466 or the serial # JKP19G0K4WG. I hope you can me.

Can you verify the model # you have posted? Both part numbers you listed above are discontinued parts.

Just for some clarification, your cook top & oven are on the same 220?
If so start in your breaker box and wiring, before looking at the appliances themselves.

The switch that connects the stove and the oven is burnt out . That's what I am looking for. The name of the switch is, board assemble and relay switch.
Or smart board control. wb23x5466. or jkp19g0k42g

If it's the SMART BOARD CONTROL & BOARD ASM RELAY & TRANS. Are you are sure that those are out, or have you had them checked? If they've been check and are for certain they are out then you have two options......pray tht you will find a replacement part from a repair company that has been around a while, possibly parts from a scrapped unit or buy a new cook top & oven, since the parts are not available anywhere I check all the major suppliers that I know of.
Or it's in the electrical system of your house.

We took the Smart Board control switch to the appliance store . They said it was burned out. I guess I need a new stove and oven.

Thank you

Sorry wasn't much help.
but look on the bright side, getting new appliances at least parts will be available:rolleyes: .... at least for several years.
I don't generally recommend any appliances, but I'll tell you I own only Whirlpool products.;)
