Built in Range Top

I have a 25+ year old built in range top from Sears and the Harper Wyman Kool-Lite Model 6509 igniter will only work when it is cold. This is true for all burners (4 burners plus gridder). This part has been discontinued by Sears and I am not able to find a replacement can you help? :confused:
