I have a GE Electric Range (Model: JB910BK4BB). The range will reach the set temp but will not maintain the set temp. There are no error codes; oven seems to operate normally based on the display on the control panel. I checked the sensor and it reads 1120 Ohms; I’m guessing this is close enough (1000-1100 ohms). That leaves the controller. The appliance is just over two years old, and it is the third GE appliance I have had fail in as many years. Not too happy with GE right now… Would you agree the controller needs to be replace? I’m assuming the wire harness is good or I would expect an error code on the display, any suggestions? Just go for the controller? Try the sensor?

I found the problem... The Baking Element is bad. Easy to find, not so easy to replace. Who ever designed this oven should be sentenced to thirty days of replacing baking elements.
