How do you remove the Maintop assembly on a Thermador sgsx365ZW to replace the potentionmeter - do you have to pull the unit out of the countertop?

No, you do not have to pull the whole unit out. Instead you have to disassemble all burners, pull them out and pull out all knobs.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Thermador cooktop Model SGSX365ZW

- The part number for the potentiometer is AP3861852
