oven igniter does't heat up
Model Number: jghp17wew4ww Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
replaced oven igniter with a new one .the igniter does't heat up berakers are in good working order.any ideals what could be wrong? do i need another part or what?gas oven. model # is correct. JGHP17WWEW4WW thanks

Your model number doesnt com up can you recheck it? You can also check to see if the igniter is getting power, take the wires off the safety valve and check for continuity, check all wires for shorts etc. Get the model number and let us know what you found on the other parts.
