Light is out in oven. Need advice on how to remove light assembly part #AP3029430. Will not un screw and can not see any attaching screws. Please advise on removal of bulb and assembly. thanks

Please advise on removal of bulb and assembly. thanks The oven light socket is a spring "loaded" and clips to the back side of the oven cavity. If you're careful, you can usually "force" the assembly out of the opening,without damaging the cavity or porcelain. Most guys I know, just break the glass globe and vaccuum out all the glass and replace the globe and the bulb. Of course that would be your choice. Either way when you install the new globe on the socket, You may want to put a thin coat of high temp(not petroleum based) grease on the threads and don't over tighten the new globe. :cool:
