self cleaning oven not working
Model Number: VDSC485-6GSS Brand: -brand- Age: 5 - 10 years
Where can I get help on getting information on whats wrong w/my Viking Range oven and where can I get parts?My oven door locks when I want to self clean but doesn't heat up.I can hear a timer then it shuts off and the door unlocks,allin a matter of a minute or less.Any helpyou can give me would be much appreciated.

JR, does everything else on you're oven work properly other than that self clean? Does it bake and broil normal, no problems in that area

yeah w/o being there this is a shot in the dark..lol...could be a self clean board, control board, thermostat, burnt wire, so many things. I wish there was a sure fire point you in the right direction. Sorry, if you get it fixed let us know...And if you do tackle it yourself, I know some great places to get parts, but you have to know what you need before hand....GL
