Gene
Similar problem to others posted where Thermador oven display has faded. All oven functions appear to work correctly expept for the Self-Clean which does not work.
Other responses indicated the Control kit AP3383663 should fix the problem.
Just wanted to be sure that with the self-clean mal-function this would still be the correct path to repair.
Thanks

This control kit will definitely fix the display problem but the self clean problem is different and the solution is probably different too. Lets do one thing at a time. Fix the display and then we'll try to diagnose the self clean problem. Gene.

Hi Gene,
I have a Thermador double oven. We had a quick power hit while the oven was on and now the display doesn't work but everything else does. You said that the Control kit AP3383663 should fix the problem but that is for a single oven, I think ? For a double oven I think it should be Part Number: AP3382408 made by BSH ? Is that correct ? This is an expensive part to replace just to see the display since everything else works. Is there a cheaper way to fix the display ? I appreciate your help ! Thx, Pete

Yes, you got the right part number.
Thermador used to sell the display board separate but not anymore what means there is no cheaper way.
About the power board included in the kit there are no single opinion. Based on my experience it is not necessary to replace this part. Some other experts saying it has to be replaced too.
Gene.
