It looks like I need a new igniter for my Whirlpool gas range/oven. The oven won't heat up after 2 clicks. I've taken off the lower panel to see, but it looks complicated. The current igniter is the round kind, not the flat version. The top of it extends up above a panel. Do I have to take anything else apart in order to remove and replace it? Any suggestions? Thanks

In which case you could have a bad spark module Part number: AP3672576
Or maybe a bad ground, a leaky spark wire (worn spot shorting to frame), a bad gas valve, or even a partially melted or misaligned spark electrode.
