All four burners stopped lighting with the ignitor at the same time. This leads me to believe the problem is with the spark module and not each individual ignitor.

I ordered the Spark Module that supposedly works with this range, but it appears to be the incorrect part. Does anyone have experience with this?

What is the part number of the spark module you've ordered? Why you believe it's incorrect part?

AP3990137 (Y705823) Spark Module

This part does not look like it will fit in place of the old spark module, nor does it appear to have the necessary ports. I called the 800 number and even sent photos of the part and the area of my range to the call center parts specialist, but could get no help there.

Maytag has redesigned the spark module for this range and changed the part number from 0302244 to Y705823. OEM part# Y705823 is APP part# AP3990137.

If you can post pictures of the old part it might help better.

My jen-air range clicks about 3 minutes after I turn it on. I have had it fixed three times. Technician said it was the igniter, then the module, then they replaced some wires. When it still clicked, he said it was the overspill, which is rediculous because it is a sealed burner. Today I am waiting for the technician. There might be a defect in the stove.

R.Chavez,

The first thing I would check is how good the range is grounded.

What is the complete model number of the range?

My clicking problem has been resolved. After much work, I reviewed the wiring on the spark module, tracing all the wires to wires going to each ignitor and found two of the wires had been incorrectly wired. This took considerable time to remove the stove top in order to clearly trace the wiring, but did take care of the problem.

Good job, Travis. We're glad you were able to fix it.
