Electric clock fades on and off

Model Number: Model: MER6772BAW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years

Electric clock fades on and off . When the clock is on both ovens work. When the clock is off the ovens do not work.
Please advise as to the part(s) I need to fix the problem.
