Model Number: 6498xvb Brand: Magic Chef Age: More than 10 years
Hello folks,
I have a Magic Chef 6498XVB that has a timer/clock that fades in and out. When this occurs if I push in on the set dial, or the clock it comes back to life. When we use the stove or the oven of course it heats up the outside and the clock fades out again. Again when I push in on it, it comes back to life. So to me it appears like there may be a loose wire or connection, and I want to take a look at the clock. Now that is where the problem begins, is how do I lift the cooktop so that I can get to the clock and see ? I have disengaged the clips at the front of the cooktop, but there is something else holding it down, and I can't figure out what it is. Any suggestions on how to lift the cooktop so I can get access to the clock ? Thanks very much. Ads By Google Related Models |
