oven stopped heating so removed ignitor. instructions on replacement emphasize NOT to reuse existing connectors.
question:do I just clip both ends of connectors off and rewire w/ceramic nuts? question#2: thers no markings on the new ignitor wires so does it matter which wires connect to which, even though the oven wires are green and orange?

Yes, you clip and strip the green and orange wires. Strip the wires approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch from the ends.

No, wiring makes no difference (Igniters are not a polarity sensitive component) Make sure you use the new wire nuts that came with the igniter kit.

Have a good day

Be very careful with the new igniter, they are very fragile.

I will now! Especially if the oven heats up.
Many thanks.
