not heating element whats next

Model Number: MER6772BAW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

Lower heating element on upper oven does not work. I just replaced heating element. It still does not work. What is the next step? I have the back off and see no burns or disconnects.

Does the lower oven work ?

If so, suspect a damaged wire to the oven control assembly or a failed control.
