Oven will not heat up

Model Number: MGR5755QDW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

I set oven temp @ 400 degrees, but then it defaults down to 100 and stays there. What could be the problem? Clock works, burners work...oven doesn't.

Most likely the problem is a bad Bake igniter. Remove the bottom drawer, unplug the igniter and check for 120VAC while the control calls for Bake.

If there is 120VAC then replace the igniter.

- The part number for the oven igniter is AP205873
