We own a wonderful ceramic stovetop until recently. The knob part seems to short out the front right burner, which I discovered today works fine. However the knob is LOOSE, and sparks used to fly when I put it on, and so the burner never went on with the loose knob, so I have been using 3 burners rather than the 4 it has. SO today I tightened the knob as best I could, and voila, the burner worked beautifully.... ok just for a little while the knob read OFF! THe knob was still loose as well, and it turned with difficulty, until it shorted out again the whole stove. Back to the fuses, put it on, and had to find the OFF for that knob so I could use the stove (3 burners). I think the person at the appliance sales section (chat) said I needed a switch. Is that correct? We need directions on how to go about to replace that part on this stovetop as well: VERY IMPORTANT. Thank you! I'd like to order this part if it isn't too hard to fix (dh not me!). Thanks! I do the cookin, he does the fixin! :)
