Hi,
I have an Amana about 5 years old. The bake element burned out while cooking a pizza (425 deg or so). I put in a new element today and figured it would fire right up. Didn't.

I know for certain that the old element is poofed as it element must have arced and burnt right through. This definitely needed replacing, so I'm that far along. But I wonder if there is some sort of breaker that gets triggered to prevent the unit from powering up again.

Thoughts or ideas are appreciated in advance,

Tim
