I have an old Maytag electric stove, I know it is older than 15 years old.:(

I recently had a grease fire from the burner I use the most. I took out the burner coils and drip pan to clean them, and saw that the flat surface beneath the drip pan has a hole burned through it.

Is that a plate or tray that can be replaced, it appears to extend under all the burners. I am afraid to use the range now. Do I scrap the stove or can it be repaired.

Thanks.
