Last week while using the oven, the timer/control module on my range "popped" very loudly, sparks were emitted from below the timer, and the oven ceased to operate, the clock went blank. The stovetop still works.
Is the module hard to replace? I've seen prices between $120-$125. Is it worth replacing or should I look for a new range?
