Oven controller broken
Model Number: JGBS21HED2WW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I was told that the oven control thermostat needs to be replaced:confused:. I was unable to turn the oven off and the silver knob that goes into the themostat cover just spins. What part do I need? It may possibly be AP3427505. Need help please!

Item# 17 in section 2 is your thermostat control. Model JGBS21HED2WW
Pull the knob off, if you can freely move the shaft around without resistance you need to replace the thermostat control, check the knob itself, it could just be cracked or broken.
