I tried to search the "Oven Repair" forum, but I cannot find information specific to my model.

I have a Kenmore Elite 790.79363400 Gas Freestanding Range Stainless Steel but my model doesn't come up in the parts searches.

Basically, the oven door doesn't close all the way and the oven light stays on. I think I need to replace the oven door hinges, but I can't find the specific information.

Any help is appreciated.

Take a close look around for anything that may be preventing the door from closing. IE.. racks.

There's nothing blocking the door from closing. I can see about 1/2 inch gap between the door and the racks.

I found a hinge kit that should fit: Frigidaire 5304445530 -- Hinge Kit.

I got my new oven door hinge kit with instructions. I removed the old hinges which use a larger spring that loses it's spring-effect. I installed the new hinges which use a shorter spring and now my oven door closes all the way.

Thanks to all the information in this site I was able to fix my oven door for $45 including shipping and tax.
