We had an electrical surge at the home and now the range is not working correctly.
I see nothing on the control panel, but if i rotate one of the burner knobs to on i get these "codes"
AM71
UI45
EEWE T204
I can set the clock and oven lights come on (but again i have to rotate the burner knob). No heat coming from any burners or oven.
Can you explain the numbers that are showing on control panel?

I am posting for information only. The problem with my whirlpool was not an range problem it was insufficient power.
i decided to post here as most answer posts involve purchasing parts, or they are not answered.
If you throw these codes, check your electrical supply.
Whirlpool was not helpful when i called. They seemed to have no record of these codes. But the woman on the phone let me know they do not share info with callers but they should have a service call.
My problem was i did not know which to call appliance or electric service.

I am experiencing the same issue, I called Whirlpool they told me it was not an error code but a rebooting code and I needed a service call. Of course I told him I did not want to put out $160 if it could be electrical, just then I saw your issue, so needless to say I did not schedule a service call. But would like to know how you resolved it. Breaker or 220 cord?

What i wanted to know from them was do i need a service for appliance repair or electrical repair.
i did not post my exact fix because it was unique. i live in a vintage home that still has the long post fuses. i had pulled them out for another problem and when i reinserted them i had bent a prong and was not getting full power. i was getting 110 from the good side of the fuse holder and the bent side was not delivering any power. So i was showing some function (lights and clock). Never threw a error code that had an E or F associated with it.
A friend came over with a voltage meter and tracked it down. Whirpool knew well and good what those codes were, it was not just a random set of numbers, as evidenced by you having them also.
Check electical not your range.
