I was recently given a used oven/cooktop - a Whirlpool "Imperial Series" with glass top stove. I replaced the oven element because it didn't have one and found out that neither the oven, nor broiler elements work. The indicator light doesn't even come on. All else works perfectly. Haven't tried a continuity test but does anyone know what likely cause is? (I checked the wires in the back and all seem tight.) Could this be a fuse? Can anyone tell me if the newer oven/stoves have separate fuses similar to the ones of old? (Please note - this is a Canadian model so the model # may not be recognizable.)
