Purchased and installed oven valve from your company - Order No. 1187810; part no. - 7501P133-60.
Valve works but flames are too high. This oven/stove runs on LP bottled gas not natural gas.
Is it possble the brass oriffice on the new valve is too high and can be adjusted (turned down) with an adjustable wrench to lower the flame ???

I am dealing with the same.... Oven Flame TOO HIGH.
Had a bad igniter replaced that. Then the Safety Valve started to leak by when shut off and even unplugged unit. 1/2 hour of flame....
Ordered Safety Valve a NC-4125-5 that was the same in every way, including the brass orifices on the burner end. Removed the brass orifices and can see that the old inner orifices is SMALLER than the Replacement. The Replacement is BIGGER.... This is only seen by removing the outer brass orifices. The inner one looks like a Philip's screw driver tip with a hole in the center.
The parts place is sending me a new safety valve and taking the new old one back. Hoping it was a freak at the factory that had the wrong size installed.
Looking to see if the Regulator has any adjustment to the flame size.
The 9 inch from center flame comes out the bottom plate of the oven into the oven by 2 inches....
Did install the LP Gas KIT when the unit was NEW and only included the 4 burner orifices. The Oven worked fine on LP Gas with the first safety switch with the SMALLER inner orifices.

Think I found the ANSWER tonight.... OPERATOR ERROR.....
Found this on another site..... and will try it....
The hood or outer orifice shield needs to be screwed down about 2 turns to butt the inside of the brass up against the inner stud for LP GAS and loosened 2 turns for Nat Gas..... The inner stud looks like a 3 lobe Phillips bit with a hole in the center... LP gas center hole only.... Nat Gas 3 lobes and center hole.

The Robert shaw (formerly Eaton) Single Gas Valves are thermal bimetal gas control valves designed for efficient use in gas cooking appliances of various types. They are especially good for home use because they are quiet operating. The oven safety valves with a single outlet are usually used in conventional gas ovens. Because these valves are fully ambient temperature compensated, positive shut-off and repeatability of opening and closing times are assured. They are normally closed, which means they open when voltage is applied. Any interruption in the electrical circuit will cause the valve to close. All thermal bimetal gas valves are design certified for use with natural, LP, manufactured and mixed gases. For LP gas installation, the orifice hood should be screwed down against the hood pin. For natural gas installation, the hood should be backed off two to three turns from the hood pin.
