Model Number: ARGS7650WW Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
I have several questions regarding this unit. The first one is, are all of the four topside burners using the same ignitor/Part Number? The second, is the High Surface Ignitor for the Bake cycle the Bake ignitor? I have a problem which seams to be common for this unit, in that you can program the bake temp into the contol panel but nothing happens afterwards. My first thought was that it might be the thermocouple, but if there is no proof of flame, it could be the ignitor, and or valve, but since gas valves are less likely to fail statisticly, my thoughts came back around to the ignitor for the bake cycle. The broil cycle works only on the high setting, so I do not have the control schematics to know if the two are interconnected, or just coincidentally related...any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance....
