I have read other posts that indicate this may be a Magnetron issue.

The microwave seems to work normally however does not heat the food. There was a funny smell when it first happened.

On other posts it indicated it could be the Magnetron tube, however I was not able to locate that particluar part on the diagrams for my model. Is there a different name for the part on my model type?

Is there another possible cause other than the Magnetron tube? And how exactly do you tell if it is "bad".

I also read it could be possibly covered my the manufactures warranty if it is under 10 years..Mine is 6 years. My difficult task I have not been able to complete is WHO to contact for that. What phone number? I have searched all over the internet to find who I contact about getting it fixed using my limited manufactures warranty. The orginal books were damaged and I no long have them.
