ge microwave turntable turns constantly
Model Number: je164owa Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
the turn table turns constantly (ie when i open the door it is still turning, when i shut the door it goes off. it does turn when i turn it on)
i have been told to replace the door switch, but cannot find the right one. i haven't taken it apart....YET! Ads By Google Related Models

Most likely the problem is a bad upper door (interlock or sensing) switch (#26 on the diagram).
