I purchased a Black Kenmore 1.2 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave 2 wks ago and was going great. It just quit heating my food. It runs, and everything but no food getting hot. I dont have the reciept. I have the box. Any suggestions? thanks Pam

Call for service if it is an inhome repair microwave, if not return to the store you bought it from for a replacement

I have the same problem with my Kenmore microwave, but mine is a 2001 model. So I would not return it to the store. The microwave runs, but occassionally makes helcopter/train like sound (you would suspect that the base plate inside is not in balance, but that is not the case). At the end of it, the food is as cold as when you put it in there. The thing was running fine, and failed abruptly. Any ideas? Is there a chance of repair within a reasonable budget? It is model 665.60654000.
