Model Number: MH7130XEB-1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Whirlpool microwave, Model #MH7130XEB-1. The microwave is completely dead, no display, lights, etc. Can't hit any buttons, anything. Completely dead.
Looking for a repair manual to try to troubleshoot. Is this a common problem? Any idea of the cause? ![]() |

Chances are it's the fuse or a thermostat / thermal cutout on the magnetron or on top of the chassis.
There should be a handy "mini-manual" tucked behind the control panel assembly. It's helpful when troubleshooting. It will show you where the fuse and thermostats / thermal cutouts are located. There's a video on YouTube that shows you how to safely remove the control panel assembly on a typical microwave in less than five minutes.
