Is this GE Microwave worth repairing?
Model Number: JVM1090BW Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Everything on the microwave/convection combo is working except the microwave will not heat and makes a loud humming noise when it is running. Is this something I can diagnose and fix?

More than likely the magnetron tube has failed. Over 10 years old, you are out of warranty for the part. So you would be looking around $400 to fix from a repair company. You could do it for less than half of that if you have the right tools and alittle knowledge of what your doing.
