I have an Amana Microwave ALD10T that was dead. My first instinct was to open it up and replace the fuse. Once I did that I plugged it in - the door was open and I got a light inside. I closed the door & went to enter the cook time and it was dead again. Only now it had tripped the circuit. I reset the circuit - plugged it in - opened the door, had light, closed the door to try to operate it and it tripped the circuit again.
From other people's posts - I'm wondering if it's the interlock switches or what? I don't want to just start changing random parts if someone has an idea of what might be wrong.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
