Whirlpool microwave displays F2 - doesn't work
Model Number: MH1150XMS-3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Above the range microwave stopped working and now displays F2 in the panel. I unplugged it for a while, then plugged back in and it worked for about an hour then F2 again. Unit is about 2 years old. Any ideas?

It is a bad keyboard error code. Try this, unplugg the unit, open the control panel and disconnect the ribbon cable from the control board, plugg back in, if f2 comes back on the board needs replacing, if it does not, then the problem is with the keypad.
