Sharp Microwave Odd Boiled Water Taste
Brand: -other- Age: 5 - 10 years
Water boiled in my Sharp Carousel over-range microwave/convection oven (always works great for everything, but approx. 8-9 years old) produces an odd taste (no matter how long it is heated, whether it is 1 min. or 3 min.), which I only noticed recently. It is hard to describe, except to say that it is like a burnt electrical taste. I have only noticed it with water, not with food. (Can't see the model #.) What could this be?
