The black control panel I have on my Whirlpool MH7140XFB microwave needs to be replaced. Two of the "hooks" that hold it to the front have broken, so it's loose when I push the numbers on the panel.

I ordered the replacement control panel (Item#3 or part# AP3119824 ) that is part of this diagram: Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL MH7140XFB0 | AppliancePartsPros.com

How do I "peel" or remove the existing switch membrane off the old control panel. And if I get it off, can this membrane switch be reapplied to the new control panel?

I tried searching here, but didn't find any insight about how to remove/reaffix an existing membrane switch to a control panel. Thanks for your help and assistance.

Cheers, Grant
