The glass turntable in my Goldstar microwave broke. I have never heard of a plate breaking from normal use! Is this normal? Or does it indicate something wrong with my microwave? I was popping a bag of popcorn, and it was not finished popping. I put it back in the microwave, as soon as I turned the power back on...CRACK!!! There went my glas turntable! I am getting ready to buy a rplacement, but before I do, I just wondered if someone may know if this indicates a more serious problem that may necessitate a more major repair or unit replacement...
