Unhappy Vent fan comes on by itself
Model Number: JVM3660CF001   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

Microhood vent fan comes on by itself. Buttons on control panel working off and on. Display reading time to replace charcoal filter. There is no charcoal filter. Microhood vents to outside. Had to unplug microhood to stop the fan from running. What's wrong? Please help.
