My interior light bulb is not working. I called GE and was told I needed a Technician to come out to my house to change the light bulb as it was not "consumer friendly or safe to do it yourself ". They told me even with it unpluged there were still parts inside that were active and unsafe that could kill you. They want alot of money to come out to change a $4 light bulb. Does anyone know if this is true? Would like to do it myself but dont know how and kinda concerned about safety.
