This Kenmore microwave oven is a month over 1 year old and has stopped heating. I have checked basic switches and fuse for continuity and all are good. Any advice?

If the unit turns on but no heat, check to see if you have 120 volts to the primary side of the HV transformer with the unit running. If you do, you most likely have a bad manetron.
DO NOT CHECK THE SECONDARY SIDE FOR VOLTAGE. If you do you will fry your tester as the output is about 2000 to 4000 volts.
I think the high voltage circuit is covered for an extended time, check your warranty.
