The display lights (time) are not working. If the microwave door is shut hard or if i hit the display with my hand the light will come on but fade out shortly. This problem has been getting worse over the past few months. I'm trying to figure which part I need to order to fix this problem. Thank You

i would start by checking all door switches and connections to the front panel

REMEMBER microwaves are extremely high voltage that can carry a charge even when unplugged!!!

Thanks for your reply......... all switches and connections seem to be OK. Could the Power control module display be bad?

That's almost certainly a bad connection on the control circuit board.

We regularly repair these control units for customers nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week or so with a one-year guarantee.

It's much cheaper than buying a new control board, and on older models, the board may not be availabel any more.
