I would like steps in replacing the magnatron.

In order to access the magnetron you have to remove the microwave from the cabinet. You probably need someone else to help you.
To better understand the removal process of the microwave here is the installation instructions. Go to page 6. - The part number for the magnetron is AP3846818 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool microwave Model MH6140XKB0 Gene.
