I have a 3 year old Whirlpool Gold counter top microwave. The button to open the door is not working. I heard what I thought was a spring break. Can this be replaced?

I have the same problem on my 2 year old Whirlpool Gold Microwave, the part that breaks is a white plastic pined cam that rotates up to engauge the door locks. the right side pin broke on mine, seems whilpool didn't design a tougher part, by the looks of the small pin area where all the pressure is exerted, they will almost surely break again.
I am trying to find the part nbr to order one.

Thanks, but that was kinda hard since the only model number was inside, and i couldn't get it open. I have since had it fixed so this is no longer an issue.

So, what did you do? How did you get it fixed?
