A momentary residence-wide power loss during a thunderstorm caused the microwave to shut down. The digital display had only a 'hyphen' blinking in the upper left corner. Otherwise the unit appeared completely dead. All input buttons were nonfunctional. I tried unplugging and repowering to no avail. I removed a fuse through the access panel on top of the unit. It checks ok by way of zero resistance with an ohm meter. Could it still be the fuse? Would a blown fuse permit ANY power to the unit -- enough to flash the 'hyphen'? Possible explanations/repairs would be appreciated. Thank you.

I see that a quick reply here is unlikely. I fixed it and cancel my post topic.
