I have a Sharp R1874F, an over-the-counter microwave in my '07
Motorhome, which came with the RV when new. It is continuing
to blow the ceramic fuse, after a very brief time in the cook cycle.
A couple years ago both the magnatron and capacitor were re-
placed, and all has been working normally. On this occasion my
wife was cooking a small roast and pressed Stop to reset and add
more time. She pressed Start and it began to cook. After a short
time she checked and found the unit was off and would not restart.
There was no power. The circuit breaker was found to be o.k. I
replaced the ceramic fuse and the unit came on and began cooking
again, for a brief time before again blowing the same fuse. Does
this sound like something as serious as the magnatron and/or
capacitor again? Or, perhaps something probably less serious and
costly? Would appreciate any thoughts and advice. Larry
