I have a GE spacemaker Microwave Oven 4 years old. When I open the door the main cooling fan (automatic fan) turns on and stays on as long as the door is open, when the door is closed the fan shuts off. It will not reset, you can power down the unit and leave it powered down and the minute you pwr it back up and open the door after a cook or timed cycle, the fan turns back on with the door open. I disconnected & jumpered the orange wires which go to the door sensing switch, which connects to the control touch board. Upon doing this it has stopped the fan from turning on- open or closed, temp fix. But this leads me to believe it is in the Control board or one of the switches tied into the door or maybe I am missing something else, i.e. heat sensor switch? Additionally I noticed when applying power to the unit with the door open that I would hear a relay click on the touch control board, the same relay I'm certain that shot power to the fan. When I put the jumper wire between the connectors of the orange wires and applied power, the relay would not click with the door open. Have any ideas? Bad Control Board? thanks, cbasap
