I found 2 thermal fuses blown in this Amana microwave. I received new parts for both, and the chassis fuse mounted over the oven chamber is different in part number somewhat. The old one is a 1001 KSD-90LC 60. The part I received is a 12y KSD150LC. From the little info available on the web, the number before the LC is the temp it opens. Therefore I am concerned by replacing a 90' with a 150' unit. Maybe there was a engineering change in temp, but how would you know. I don't want any fires. The part did not show up in a factory type bag with a tag on it, only in ziplock with hand written number of DE4720173A. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks:rolleyes:
