Hi folks!
My wife "slammed" the microwave door and a piece of one of the door latches broke off. Now it won't power on (possibly unrelated? would be an odd coincidence). The piece is plastic, so I can't imagine there's a contact in there. Maybe it pushes something in the latch-receiver-hole?
Any ideas?
Significant Updates (I had forgotten details since it was a while ago):
OK, so when the power cord is plugged in, and the door is open, the light is on. When I close the door, the microwave starts making a noise (slight whirring/churning). The buttons on the touch panel "sort of" work. The surface light and vent work fine. The buttons make beeps and some enter numbers on the screen, but it definitely doesn't turn on.
Thanks!
